Qualification Questionnaire
A short, structured set of questions before we speak.

The questionnaire is the first step in the model. It helps us understand whether your project is compatible — and saves both sides the time of conversations that would not lead anywhere useful. There are no wrong answers; there are only compatible and non-compatible projects.

How to send it

A web-based form will be available shortly. For now, the most efficient way to answer the questions is to email us directly. Copy the questions below into your message, answer the ones that apply to your situation, and leave the rest blank if they do not. We reply within a few working days with our reading of compatibility — and propose a first conversation if the project fits.

The Questions

1. Name and country of residence

Your full name, country of residence, and if different, country of fiscal residence. This helps us understand the cross-border dimensions of the engagement from the first message.

2. Property status

Have you already acquired the property, identified it but not yet acquired, or are you still searching? Each of these places you in a different starting position relative to the model.

3. Location of interest

Region, province, municipality if known. Within Tuscany, the model concentrates on Val d'Orcia, Chianti and the Siena countryside; other locations are considered case by case.

4. Property type

Heritage farmhouse, estate with outbuildings, historic villa, or other. Each type carries its own constraints — listed elements, landscape rules, structural realities.

5. Approximate size

Square meters of the main building, plus outbuildings if relevant. An approximate figure is enough at this stage; precision comes during the Feasibility Study.

6. Vision for the property

A few sentences on what the property will become once the restoration is complete. Primary residence, family retreat, second home, occasional rental — the use defines much of the project.

7. Indicative overall budget

The total budget envelope, including acquisition and restoration. A range is fine. The figure does not need to be precise — it needs to be honest, because the model only works when the budget can sustain the scope.

8. Expected timeline

When you would like to see the project completed. A realistic timeline aligned with the restoration's natural duration — not a deadline imposed externally.

9. How you found us

Useful to us in order to understand the path that led you here, and helpful for context on the conversation that follows.

10. Anything else worth knowing

Open field. Family considerations, residency planning, prior renovation experience, specific concerns, particular requirements. Whatever you think we should know before we speak.

What happens next

After you send the questionnaire.

We read every message. We reply with one of three outcomes: the project is compatible and we propose a first call; the project may be compatible and we ask a few follow-up questions; the project is not compatible with the model and we say so directly, with our reasons. We respond in plain language, without form letters.

A first conversation, if proposed, is a short call — typically thirty to forty-five minutes — during which we walk through the model, answer your questions, and discuss whether a Pre-engagement makes sense. The Pre-engagement is a paid, written, time-bound study; it is the first formal step in the model. It is also the natural place to stop, if at the end of it the project no longer makes sense to you, or to us.

Confidentiality

The information you share in the questionnaire is treated as confidential from receipt. It is used only to assess project compatibility and to inform a possible first conversation. It is not shared with third parties, and is retained for a maximum of twelve months if no engagement follows — after which it is deleted, in accordance with our GDPR policy.
